Paws Control is proud to offer training at our purpose built Outdoor Secure Training Paddock and Indoor Training Arena, which are both located at Coxleigh Barton, Shirwell, Barnstaple, EX31 4JL.

Paws Control training sessions are held at our Purpose Built Indoor Training Arena and our secure training paddock at Coxleigh Barton.
Coxleigh Barton is situated on the Shirwell Road, Postcode EX31 4JL. Directions from Barnstaple town centre : follow directions to North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) / Ilfracombe (A39), at NDDH continue across the roundabout on A39, after approximately 2 miles the entrance to Coxleigh Barton is on the right.
Paws Control "Harry's Paddock" at Coxleigh
Once you turn up to Coxleigh on A39, Drive up the long drive and there is a car park on the left hand side. Please park your car there and walk with your dog down to the paddock. Walk to the bottom of the car park and go through gateway on your left (Look for yellow Paws Control Notice) Make your way along the track right to the end. Our paddock is through the gate at the end, past the horse cross country jumps. Please be aware of horses and keep your dog on a lead, please also clean up after them if they do poop on the way down!
